Coffee Break Resume ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Resume text — the text content of your resume that you paste or upload. This is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your review and is not stored on our servers after your session ends.
• Job description and role details — any optional context you provide to tailor your review. Treated the same as resume text.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, expiry, or CVV. We only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded.
• Session tokens — a cryptographically signed token stored in your browser's local storage to enable your free re-review. This contains no personal information.

What we do not collect

• We do not create user accounts or store email addresses
• We do not retain resume content after your session ends
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing
• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic Claude API — processes your resume to generate feedback. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — processes payments securely. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Render — hosts our application. Subject to Render's Privacy Policy.

Data retention

Resume and job description content is processed in memory and is not written to any database or persistent storage. It exists only for the duration of your review request and is discarded immediately after.

Your rights

Since we do not store personal data, there is nothing to delete or export. If you have questions about how your data was handled during a session, please contact us.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store payment information of any kind.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
